Rich ppl get addicted to gambling & poor ppl get addicted to gambling. Rich ppl put higher bets than poor ppl because they've got the money but poor ppl can't so they'll gamble according to their finance. Rich or poor they shouldn't gamble.
The truth is that there's no body that can not be addicted to gambling but the poor who are more devoted to gambling are the once being easily addicted more than the rich who are only few in numbers that are dedicated to gambling. Another thing is that many rich people are more self controlled than the more who are bent on making a living from gambling.

Rich people chase no reward in gambling this is why they are able to control their self more than poor gamblers. A poor gambler is after changing his life with gambling which might not really be possible to achieve. Most people who are rich don't use gambling as a source of entertainment, if a gambler ever thinks of how to make gambling a source of income it can never be for the purpose of having again
Yes, there is a big difference between the way a rich person and a poor person thinking about gambling, poor gamblers gamble with high hopes, their income is limited, so when they gamble they only want to win, because they cannot afford to lose any money, and that is the main problem. But think about the way a rich person thinks, he can afford to lose, he has no regrets if he loses now, and so he never thinks about recovering his losses. And that is why they never get addicted to gambling. So the motive and mentality can have a big impact on gambling, you just gamble for fun, and learn to accept losses, then you will not get addicted, but you will always want to win and cannot accept losses, but you definitely face losses.
