Well, if LeBron wants to win another ring in his final season, I think he should look at a more competitive team instead of the Cavs. Earlier, there were rumors that LeBron might move to the Mavs, and I think that would be more or less the optimal option for him.
The problem is, unless LBJ agrees to a significant pay cut there is not team that's competing at the moment that could afford him and his 54 or whatever it is million per season. Many teams already struggle to stay under those set aprons, taking the risk of taking an old superstar on is just too high.
I don't understand why any team would want to get him anyway. He most likely brings Bronny, which is already a waste of a roster spot, he brings distraction and the productivity is not what it's supposed to be as well, for obvious reasons.
I believe his contract will be much lower now since he knew he is already near for retirement. You’re correct that there’s only few team is willing to pay 50M per year on a player that is not already on his prime.
They merely just paying for a premium that doesn’t have an equivalent output for the pay grade.
In addition to the deal is Bronny might request a contract too. So good luck.
