I agree but the problem is, many people can't enjoy the fun anymore because they’re too addicted on chasing wins, that constant pursuit often leads to losing more and more. Once someone becomes addicted to gambling, it's hard to convince them to do it wisely. They start losing large amounts of money, wasting time, and completely losing control over their emotions. It stops being entertainment and turns into a dangerous cycle. That’s why it’s so important to build self-awareness, emotional control, and to know when to walk away
That's the danger faced by addicted gamblers. Initially, they think it's for fun. They bet on impossible bets because they'll get a thrill and a dopamine rush when their bets are correct. It's similar to someone betting on Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final. It's certainly exciting to win big, and your bets are different from others, making you feel like a great person. But the feeling of betting on impossible bets can become addictive, as you'll constantly crave winning more. The low probability of winning can lead you to spend more money just to get one or two wins to brag about.
Well I've had my own fair share of making impossible bets, you're right that it can be exciting sometimes, especially when you win the bet, you'll definitely wanna keep pushing your luck further. But I think it's suicide to always keep have that urge to keep on going that route. No, I'll rephrase and correct that, I think it's suicide to always give in to that urge of always picking or including impossible bets on your bets because just like you rightly said, you'll only end up losing more because the odds will be even way more against you.
Winning impossible bets normally we get different feelings. But would anyone be able to consciously keep money in such bets? None of us want to put money in a place where we will lose everything. placing money in impossible bets is the same as losing. If someone wants to put money in those bets, I think it is like suicide. If sometimes you can keep money in such bets and win, then there is a possibility of getting more money. But money in such bets in the hope of profit is foolish. To keep money here, you have to leave it only to luck. If luck favors you, then you will profit otherwise lose. I have not deliberately keep money in impossible bets in my betting life, but one day I got angry and place impossible bets only with the intention of losing. When I opened my sports book after a long time, I was quite surprised to see that win.
