Yes, for PSG to achieve what they achieved last season, I don't also think it will be possible for them in the upcoming season. I just view that PSG was opportuned last season for winning champion league despite their hard work, as some teams were not at their best, as you said especially teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid, and even Liverpool. So, trying to win those titles again will be quite a challenge for them. In fact, looking at their squad compared to the three teams I mentioned, I don't think PSG measures up. Those three teams have great, world class players and with the way teams are strengthening their squads now, next season Champions League may be a very big challenge for PSG to win champion league again.As you said about Ligue 1, I also don't think they will have much problem winning that or other competitions under the French leagues.
Liverpool were not in bad form at all in the last season. In the first round of the Champions league , the team was at the top of the table. liverpool performed well in every match. But in the knockout round, they lost against psg . Aston villa and Arsenal also did not play well against psg . And in the last final, PSG won 5-0 against Inter Milan. PSG definitely performed well and won every match. If psg can continue this kind of performance next season, then PSG should definitely be considered as the favorite for the Champions League title.
