The annoying part of all these is that when they finally get this player with all this delay let it not be that they can't still win any trophy because it will be a shameful thing. I agree with you, the Gunners should have spent that money they paid for Madueke for the fee of Viktor Gyökeres since they lack a number 9 at least that position don't have to be vacant anymore, imagine if the transfer window is to close today that means the Gunners are ending it without an attacker, too bad.
The Chelsea player Madueke isn't as important as the attacker from Sporting so they should have gone for him first.
One thing about the media is that they give us what we want to hear not that they are giving false news, no...they use whatever way to spice up the news to corespond with the situation of any deal that's if they can't get anything positive that's why we're always coming back to this very deal. Let's wait and see if it will be done tonight or next week like you said.
Arsenal played coordinated ball last season and just had few loopholes that needed attention and now that they have finally listened to the fans and gone to purchase a striker I just hope that it will help them. There's too much expectations on Gyokores and with the fact that he netted a lot of lot of goals, fans would be hoping that this would not change when he comes.
The Gunners need an option in the middle to help convert chances that some of the players who Arteta used could not and that's where Victor Gyokores comes in. Fans need to understand that even though the goals would come in, if they can't maintain a clean record, it would be pointless if when Gyokores comes he scores lots of goals.

The Gunners will do better with Viktor Gyökeres in their squad and when it comes to those important crosses that we hardly see anyone to convert it, I feel it won't be a problem any more because he'll be there to put it into the back of the net. The fans will be happy to have him and at the same time that high expectation you talked about will be much because they'd like to see all he did at Sporting CP to be done and even better at Arsenal and we shouldn't blame the fans if they start talking much about him especially when he start banging goals, they're ready to talk about it like they won a title... something special can happen for Arteta and his boys.
I believe that Arsenal will provide more scoring opportunities for the striker and if they continue with the way they played last season I see Viktor Gyökeres getting more than 20+ goals (if they sign him) so goals shouldn't be a problem. And now that they are involved in 4 competitions I believe injuries, fatigue even red cards should not be a problem for them to lose games any how like they did last campaign.

Viktor Gyökeres has played in some England teams like Brighton, Swansea and Coventry but he hasn't really played in the big teams of England therefore it will be a different experience from what we saw in the Portuguese League where he played for Sporting Lisbon. The setting of the Premier League and the Portuguese league is not the same and even though Viktor Gyökeres is a very good striker, but he might encounter some challenges in the starting of the season if his contract with Arsenal is finalized. Arsenal and Mikel Arteta should not think that signing Viktor Gyökeres will give them everything they want in a striker. Don't just assume that Viktor Gyökeres can score up to 20+ goals if he signs for Arsenal, the Premier League isn't as easy as it is in the Portuguese league. Besides, since he will be involved in many duties for the club, indeed fatigue will come, and he can probably lose form at some stage in season.
