That's why I don't tell my friends about my gambling results, because if we get too comfortable exchanging results and then laughing together, we could end up losing too much beyond our limits. Because of the obsession, "Here's my result today, what about yours?" When exchanging gambling results, we subconsciously continue playing to keep up with our friends. If this is the case for you, it's best to tell your friends that you've cut back on gambling. It's okay, and they might stop sharing their gambling history with you.

Well, that might be just for you, I don't think this works the same for everyone. To some people exchanging results with others can be a wake up call when you are exceeding your limit. I don't know about the type of companies you keep but my friends would always remind me of not doing too much whenever we share our gambling history. This isn't a bad thing, it all depends on the type of friends that you keep
