An emotional moment it was for Tottenham when they won the cup last season, it was such a special time for both fans and players given the many years they’ve gone without a trophy, any trophy at all and then the departure of Kane came with a trophy for Son and the other faithfuls. Many of us still believe it was a lucky win for them as, their chances of beating Manchester United was much unlikely yet, they managed it.
Don’t see them defending it this season though.

This was the only emotional moment that Tottenham was able to give to their fans last season. Grin The whole season was an embarrassment and they were lucky to play against a team that was an embarrassment themselves. Now I read here that Tottenham desetves to play in the CL, but I don't want to predict how that is going to end for them. It was an awful season with a lucky ending for them and I think will they get smashed in the CL. I think it is a bonus for them, but if they don't change on literally every single position in the team, the CL will be over for them very quickly.
Tottenham has actually been signing some pretty decent players this year. From that perspective, Tottenham's chances of advancing to the next round of the UCL will depend somewhat on the fixtures. Of course, if they have to play eight matches against the toughest teams, their chances of advancing to the next round will be minimal, but they'll face tougher opponents.

I was trying to figure out how draw works for all those teams. This has become so complicated, Tottenham is not in pot 1 or pot 2, whatever that means. If I am not misunderstanding this, it is possible that they will have several of the top teams as their opponents. The new signings were important and maybe there are more to come, but as you can tell from their last season, problems are not solved by bringing in two or three new players. It was the worst they could have played other than getting relegated.
What is you saying is right because this issue of draw has become a problem morespecially with the pot1, pot2 stuff . since Tottenham is not in any of the top pots , it is possible for them to meet big teams from there group stage. The issue they were having last season can't be solved by signing two to three players. There performance last season was very poor it was as if they wanted to enter the relegation zone. Signing of new player may help them, however this won't be possible if they aren't willing to change the structure of the team and there pattern of play
