From a technical perspective this wasn’t that great of a fight, but it was competitive and the result could have gone either way. From the beginning, I’ve said Barrios is a borderline journeyman and Pacquiao might do better than expected. Although a draw isn’t satisfying, most rounds were really close and didn’t have a clear winner. This is typical of Barrios to do just enough to not lose and retain his title.
Champions like Barrios and Rolly Romero show just how poor this division is right now. Pacquiao is pretty washed up, but PBC can still milk him for a few more fights against those fighters.
How actually do you describe a good match in technical perspective then?
Technically a good match is when both player fight evenly until the last round since it only means that they are
match for this fight and the idea boxing fights in technical perspective.
If you are looking for a K.O/TKO fights then that is the not good match in technical perspective because they don’t have a close combat skills.
