With the current set of players in Manchester United, I don't hope to see them finish at top four, because they haven't been able to find their bearing yet. Only two newly signed average players cannot transform the club to the point that they will be among the top four going to UCL. United should fight for qualifying to Europa League or conference cup.
Atleast your were able to see things the way they are this time, so with this facts you have outlined here, I truly agree with you in this one, getting new players into the team doesn't not guarantee Manchester United getting right this time, we all know how bad the team has performed, personally if they actually need gold results to atleast be among the top four, more players should be signed, I wouldn't want a situation where there will be blame on amorim when we the management of the knows whats supposed to be done and refuse to do it, we are going into the next season business and we are yet to see more apart from the two, so what's really in their mind, this is becoming a joke to me.
