For a person with an average income, it's very hard to secure finances in such an inflationary economics and many things also depend on where the person lives. Since I'm in EU, I'll speak from my reality. One of the biggest benefit for someone living in rich EU country like Germany, is that you don't have to worry about unemployment, health and accidental car crashes or other accidental problems because your insurance will cover it. This is a huge benefit because when you don't worry about these, then you can save the rest of your salary and invest in Bitcoin, Gold, Stocks and in whatever you want. The problem with EU is that the more you earn, the more taxes you pay.
One of the best side of the USA is that you pay less taxes and salaries are also very high but the biggest negative side is that if you get health problem, you are in a huge debt unless you work in a good company and have a great insurance paid by the employee.
