I hope Madueke does better at Arsenal than he did at Chelsea. Now the next priority has to be signing a striker, because as long as Gyökeres doesn't come, Arsenal's biggest problem from last season, the lack of goals, won't be solved.

There are too many right wingers now. Madueke has arrived, Nwaneri's contract has been renewed, there's Saka and Reiss Nelson is also back from Fulham. One of them will probably have to leave. Saka and Madueke would be the main choices, with Nwaneri getting minutes in rotation over a long season. Nelson could be loaned out again or sold.
An interesting detail is that all three of these right wingers at Arsenal; Madueke, Saka and Nwaneri are English players of Nigerian origin. Smiley

In Madueke's goodbye speech to Chelsea FC on Instagram he made one statement that I bolded here "..To Enzo Maresca, it was a privilege to play under you, thank you for trying to better me as a player and as a person". Madueke believe Enzo Maresca was only trying to better him but he is going to be better at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta. Sterling was the only Chelsea player that got flopped after arriving at the Emirate. Havertz did good, Jorginho did well too, I believe Kepa will be better. Arteta is a good change and every player improves under his watch.

One thing you should also take note of is that Madueke is a versatile winger. He can play from the left and can also play from the right. Nwaneri is not a substitute for Saka, he is there for Odegaard and not a winger. The only reason he played at the right wing was due to Saka's injury and sterling who would have fill up the space was incapable. Arteta was left with no other choice than to play Nwaneri. If any player should leave it should be Nelson.
