Amorim is building a new dynasty. Many big names are starting to be discarded. The last I heard was Marchus Rasford who will be loaned out by Barcelona with a permanent clause. I see Rashford is actually good, I think Man United can regret if he really leaves.
When he was with Aston Villa he actually performed well too. But it seems Amorim is not satisfied with his efforts. Amorim thinks he is too weak and doesn't want to work hard according to Amorim's instructions. I think if he does go to Barcelona he will have no trouble adapting.
Ruben Amorim have started with his new dynasty for improving Manchester United performance for next season by withdrawing several players from Rashford loaned to Barcelona, Jadon Sancho and Antony still not including in the main squad. Marcus Rashford has discipline problems with Amorim and withdrew him from main team indeed performed well during loan period last half season with Aston Villa. I think Amorim have quite decision with discipline if any players not work hard based on Amorim instructions looks difficult to get regular position.
First pre season match, Manchester United being draw against Leeds United indeed played with full team but can't scoring any one goal yet, new recruitment Cunha can't scoring goal at his debut match but Amorim not priority the winning result and looking for right formation. Upcoming pre season match Manchester United will face West Ham United and Bournemouth.
He was hoping for everything to be much simpler than it is and when he left Portugal, he thought he could get Manchester United to the top of the EPL table again, but I think they are incredibly far away from that. I don't think they will be able to play on the same level as Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, even Chelsea or Newcastle United again next season.
Their primary goal will be to qualify for the UCL and I think that will be hard enough.
The next season is the one that will decide who Amorim really is. They wanted him to bring them back to their best times and if he fails in the first three months, I think it is over for him.
