For this season it looks like Liverpool really want to do something that Slot didn't do last season in recruiting players because seeing from the current conditions they seem to be starting to get excited by bringing in some new players for next season's squad and this is in line with several clubs that are strong candidates for EPL champions next season as well.
This is a good thing although I do regret a little if Rodrygo leaves Madrid but in the end when Xabi already has his own future plans and Rodrygo is not included then it is a little difficult to force, so now I just hope he gets a suitable club if he really wants to leave Madrid.
Liverpool is definitely a club that could be suitable although for the main position it is also a little difficult because there is still Salah in the squad but I think he is capable enough to be at Liverpool if indeed his release clause is fulfilled for now.
Personally, I like this mentality that the coach has, I think his the one pushing the team to sign more players for him. Who would have thought that Liverpool can actually spend like! They have already spent hundreds of millions this summer alone as compared to what they have spent in years before. They will come hard this new season and Liverpool is one of the team that's making me agitate for the season to start immediately, lol.
