Rodrygo was one of the most useful players last season. I don't understand why he was left out when Alonso arrived.
I didn't see him at the Club World Cup. I thought he was injured, but it turns out he was in a different situation.
If he's not in Real's plans, Rodrygo leaving would be beneficial for him. Many clubs would want him. If he wants to leave, there are plenty of clubs in the Arabian League interested in him.
He's a useful player, but as far as I can tell, he doesn't fit into Alonso's system.
Alonso was a coach that doesn't rely to the individual brilliance like Ancellotti. Having too much talent who often did one man show is not his willingness. So he must get rid some of his superstar talent in order to rebuild Madrid as a real club that puts collectivity game play in above of everything.
He also helps club to leave from relying upon individual brilliance. This is the main reason why Rodrygo has no place in the squad, and being excluded from the long term plan. That's the reason.
Managing an all star ensemble is a skill. Maybe Alonso doesn't want to make peace with the star players and is vulnerable to them. Under Ancelotti, there was a strong bond between the star players and everyone was a warrior. Let's face it, the Mbappe transfer changed the whole balance in the team. Alonso, on the other hand, is looking for players who can create more unity in the team rather than star players.
