Tottenham has actually been signing some pretty decent players this year. From that perspective, Tottenham's chances of advancing to the next round of the UCL will depend somewhat on the fixtures. Of course, if they have to play eight matches against the toughest teams, their chances of advancing to the next round will be minimal, but they'll face tougher opponents.
Let us see what they will be able to do with the new signings they have got and it appears they have a new coach too so it is not going to be an easy one for them having to build the team, where the player and the coach are going to get to know each other and at same time get to build the team to that formidable form for them to be able to stand whatever opponent that they come across this season, and I do not see them as promising enough to win the champions league this season, they may go beyond the ground stage but I doubt if they will make it to the semi finals.
