Yeah In the 2nd ODI India Women were alootted 29 overs to play then the target will be reduced to 24 overs for England. India Women played first with Pratika and Smriti with a first partnership of 6 runs then the one down player Harleen scored some runs. The middle order got eliminated very early without any major contribution. England eliminated 8 wickets at 143 runs a tremendous bowling by Sophir brought her 3 wickets. India scored 143 runs in 29 overs then for England allotted overs were 24 and they have to score 116 runs to win this game. England opened with a great effort by openers Amy and Tammy who ended up with 54 runs. After two wickets loss England chased the target and won this game by 8 wickets with DLS method.
This defeat has made One Day competition even more interesting and now competition is tie as both squads have won one match each. First due to heavy rain overs were reduced to 29 overs and India women squad was begun this second match first with batting inning and batters managed to collect 143 scores after playing 29 overs inning. Sophia played major role in victory by displaying strong performances in bowling and she picked up 3 significant wickets. Amy Jones and Tammy Beaumont both batters build strong batting partnership and both collected 34 and 46 scores respectively. England women squad successfully secured victory with 8 wickets and 18 deliveries.
