Rashford addition to Barcelona is a good one both economically and strategically. Considering Barcelona’s financial situation they couldn’t get Nico and Luis Diaz who they were also gunning for, so they got Rashford on loan which is cheaper and might be more beneficial. Players who come to Barcelona on loan tend to find their best forms. His addition will add further competition amongst the attacking players at Barcelona. I’m guessing Hansi Flick wants to give Raphinha a free role as a no.10, this barça side is gonna be more deadly now. Rashford despite his dip in form and lack of play time is a great player, he just needs to get back his groove he will do well at FC Barcelona.
Yes, signing Rashford seems like the easiest option for Barcelona. As we know, they can't sign Nico due to financial constraints. Therefore, bringing in Rashford as a replacement is indeed the right move for Barcelona. However, Rashford might actually have a difficult time securing a place in Barcelona's first team. Since Raphinha will undoubtedly remain a key player on the wing, Rashford will have to work harder to impress Hansi Flick and secure a place in the Barcelona first team. Personally, I believe that if Rashford doesn't work hard and improve his performance, Barcelona won't offer him a contract.

Furthermore, Rashford will likely lose interest from major European teams, and he will ultimately become an underrated player. Therefore, Rashford shouldn't waste this opportunity, as it presents him with a chance to showcase his best performance and secure a permanent contract with Barcelona. Because, at Manchester United, Rashford is no longer a priority, as evidenced by his minimal playing time. Therefore, if he fails at Barcelona, Manchester United is unlikely to offer him a contract extension. If that's the case, Rashford will likely only play for mid-table teams.
