any background story about the deviation "25 chips but # 702-728" ?
I saw that too and wanted to ask as it is 27 numbers but only 25 chips - so 2 of the numbers must be missing.
I also discovered this on some rolls and I asked MJ about it. Here is his answer:
Yes, from my spreadsheet, many of the rolls had a serial range larger than 25 numbers.
This is due to error/mistakes when assembling the chips, so they omit that number.
From what I have seen, they did assemble all numbers, but some of the redone serials were combined in later rolls
This was usually indicated on the rolls as "assorted"
A few of the early rolls had a spread of over 200 in serials....
