West Indies is off to a great start. At mid-point of the match, they are 103/1, with Shai Hope and Roston Chase at the crease. Cooper Connolly took the wicket of Brandon King in the fourth over. But apart from that, the Australian bowlers were not very successful. Ben Dwarshuis and Sean Abbott opened the bowling, and both of them proved to be expensive. Also, the West Indian batsmen seems to be comfortable against the spin of Adam Zampa and Cooper Connolly. Perhaps it is time to bring in either Mitchell Owen (making his debut today) or Cameron Green?
From West Indies side the top four batsmen scored the majority of the runs, if remaining batsmen have played there part then West Indies could have easily given a target of 200 or more runs. West Indies performance in first T20I is better then what they have done in test series, at least it's not a one sided game. If West Indies can slightly improve their game in remaining matches then they might be able to win few matches. It's a five match series and still West Indies has the chance to make a come back.
