What do you do to a trading strategy that already earns you a good percentage in profit. do you still try improving on it to ensure it does not fail? or do you let it be until it starts showing signs of failure?

It is a simple question but I think answers and opinions will be different considering that some traders may fear further tampering with the strategy, others will no want to wait until it fails, what is your style?

If you already have a strategy that's generating good profits, stick with it. If it gradually becomes unsuitable, then consider a different strategy.
Usually, if a strategy no longer works well due to market changes, you can choose to take a break or learn another strategy until you can achieve profitability.

However, in my experience, no strategy is always profitable, so it's important to learn a variety of strategies to use when your usual ones no longer produce results, so we only change strategies when we haven't found one that suits the current conditions.
