Is Barcelona going to add more pains to the young man's life or should I call it regret? If Flick thinks Rashford isn't going to be a started they should have left him to hang on what Manchester United are going to feed him with, he's a baller and a starter...after all Barcelona have better players on the pitch and on the bench as well so why make Rashford a player to call "IF" ("if someone is injured or unavailable he can play")? I still wonder why Aston Villa didn't go for the English man before now after all he did better for the club last campaign and as for him playing for Barcelona or should I say him sitting on the bench for Barcelona, I don't think he'll have anything big to show or convince them that he deserves to start for the team, we might see less of him next season but if he knows about this development and agrees with it then he's the one who choose to be a bench starter that isn't sure of starting 25 games next season.
This situation is very complicated for Rashford because no team is coming for him other than Barcelona, and staying at Manchester United without playing time is just as bad. At least a move to Barcelona could allow him to fight for playing time again, even though we know Barcelona has a number of better players in that position. Barcelona is also considering this loan, and I'm sure they won't take the opportunity if the manager deems the player unnecessary for the team.

Now it's up to Rashford himself and how he can convince the manager that his presence in the team is essential. If his performances continue to improve, I'm sure Rashford will get more playing time, but if the opposite happens, his career is almost over.

Why I'm not too ok with this move is because the Rashford we know is not the type of player that comes in by 80-85'mins and play less than 10mins, with how Barcelona is, is only injuries and suspensions that can guarantee the player to see more playing time, so is it how he's going to operate, till the end of his stay at Camp Nou? I don't think so, he should go and ask Fati after coming back from loan.
He can't convince the manager to think otherwise when he sits on the bench and have less playing time but it would have been better if Barcelona sign him and not loan, that alone will force the manager to see him as an option and also a valuable asset to the club.
Flick is seeing Rashford as a plan B which seems like the player is ok with how he'll be at the club but I believe if he's given a chance he can turn things around, let's say like 2 to 3 games to play very well after all there are some players who he's better than.
