Tottenham won a trophy after many years, and so did Harry Kane, getting his first trophy in the Bundesliga. Is this a coincidence?
I've also read this on platform X, and I remain of the same opinion: there's no connection between Tottenham trophies and Harry Kane achievements. It's also not a coincidence, as they're in different leagues and competitions. Even if Kane wins the title next season and Tottenham don't win a trophy, what else would the connection be? ANother coincidence, luck or something else? that will not a reason at all.
Let's just call it a sad coincidence. Harry Kane didn't achieve success with Tottenham. They won the league with Bayern this year, and they're celebrating. Winning a trophy was crucial for Harry Kane. He achieved it at Bayern, and they hold him in high regard. He'll win plenty of trophies with Bayern now, but Tottenham won the Europa League last year, and they couldn't have won anything else anyway.
Even if it seems like a coincidence, it could be a meaningful coincidence within the dramatic structure of football. Just like life's sense of humor. Bayern are already the best in the Bundesliga and it shouldn't be difficult for Kane to win a trophy with Bayern. But the biggest chance was for Tottenham, who sent Kane away.
Kane's departure triggered a structural change at Tottenham, leading the club to look for a Kane-less game and a more balanced team. As fate would have it, Tottenham achieved much better results without Kane, and the team shaped itself around his absence after his departure. This has resulted in a more collective, pressure free, team oriented team. This restructuring could bring success again next season.
