Why? The answer is paradoxical - because you can't lose money there, lol! And after that you say that gamblers are reasonable people.
There are many things wrongly stated in this post. Starting with the fact that you talk about losing money... Money is spent on gambling, and if we lose in a game, it is normal that we have lost some money, but that is the price we pay for that entertainment & a chance for a win. How would it be if I said that you lost money in a restaurant? You went to a restaurant, you ate and drank, and imagine that you have to pay. I guess we can say you lost some money, but you got something else. You can eat for free... go fishing and pick berries, or I don't know what you can do in the place where you live... You don't have to "lose your money" on food.
Some of your topics are paradoxical... like why would you engage in something you don't enjoy? Why do you try to explain how gambling is bad while making money from advertising it? What makes you a reasonable person?
By the way, I don't like to lose in any game... When I play, I play because I love the game, and I definitely play to win, but it doesn't happen all the time. So I enjoy it while it lasts... When I lose, I know I spent some money, but I don't care about it, it's the money I could afford to lose on something I like to do. And I know I will try it again eventually...
