If you are saving in bitcoins, you are not saving but rather you are investing.
Having savings is not always advised, better to have investments that are regularly bringing returns than to tie money down somewhere in the name of savings.
It surprises me to see that some people still don't understand the difference between savings and investment, saving your money in bitcoin is just like investing into bitcoin and this is a long term commitment but if you save your money in bank you're free to withdraw whenever time you feel like. This is why as a bitcoin investor is advised to hold fiat incase if there's any emergency issue. Is not advise to shift all our Money into Bitcoin, even when we most have sort things out, within a short term we will still need money for food stuffs and other necessary things.
