If the loss is quite significant, definitely, it is hard to forget as I will have the phase of blaming myself for not stopping soon. But if it is small, I can easily move forward. It means, on my end, it depends on how much we are talking about here. So for me, the amount is determinant on how I can easily move on or not.
That's right, but i think there's no way to forget a loss in gambling, no matter how big or smalle the loss is, gamblers will always remember it. They can only let it happen and learn from it, to make them more careful for their next move. That's the only thing they can do. Why can't they forget? Simply, when gamblers betting and gamble again in another days, they'll remember the previous loss, and it will happen. So, basicaly, It's not necessary to forget, as it will always be remembered. just let it go and consider better management.
