It seems to me that you are new in the crypto space and you are still finding it hard to know the difference between decentralized wallet and exchange, I am sorry if this statement annoys you but I'll have to say that you keep on learning more about crypto. It's even more riskier when saving your crypto in an exchange than decentralized wallet.
As Amphenomenon has said, consider a decentralized wallet that offers a seed phrase as well as a PK for better saving experience because that's the whole purpose of cryptocurrency. Dex wallet is the real definition of "Be your own bank"
That is true josefix, when I first read this statement I know is coming from a newbie who really doesn't know the difference between cryptocurrency Wallet and not knowing that centralized exchange and banks are almost the same in terms of their service provision and regulations, both can withheld your money at any time, and as we have bank as Fiat system institutions, that is the same way we have cryptocurrency exchanges and cryptocurrency financial institution and both are controlled by a central body that have full control over your savings.
I hope OP is reading through the comments and correct his mistakes, or learning everything that has been said here because it painful to explain something to someone and the person is not taking it, or rather correcting its mistakes.
