I read a post saying that here in our country, the government has started cracking down on illegal casinos, and they’re also looking into ways to get vloggers promoting them banned from their social media accounts. I even saw some of the names mentioned, the top one had 13 million followers, followed by another with 9 million.

They probably got paid a huge amount to promote gambling, but they didn’t think about the consequences. Just imagine losing an account with millions of followers because you promoted an illegal casino. That’s years of hard work gone in an instant, all because of greed.
I've been wondering about this same thing. And when it comes to casino promoters, they often show their own faces. I would think that they get reported to their local tax man a lot when they seemingly win a lot.

More then often with influencer accounts it's about advertising about some token sales with promises of value growth. I don't get why they aren't even worried. People who have shown their faces and doing that have got themselves locked up as well. So it's not even just about losing an account.

When i had a account with decent set of followers (that i sold later on), i got DM:ed a lot about promoting some phishing sites. Money would have been good, but i would have hard time liking myself after knowingly scamming people, so i didn't do it.
