Who's arguing about Al Hilal been the better team over Manchester City? We should just presume that they got lucky to eliminate Manchester City in the club world cup and still ended up been knocked out by Fluminense. It was a very abstracting game to watch AI Hilal doing the magi and eliminating one of the top favorites team to win the Club World Cup. Football results comes with thrilling emotions I must confess.
Who doesn't have a clue about Football? We know it's been a long run for Chelsea but what made it more special was watching the Blues beating all odds to win Paris Saint-Germain in the club world cup final. They didn't just beat them but humiliated PSG 3 nil in the grand finale.
I agree, Al Hilal were fortunate to beat Manchester City, although they were surprisingly defeated by Fluminense. Chelsea success in winning the Club World Cup was the culmination of all the surprises, defeating PSG, the much fancied Champions League holders. Admittedly, football is full of surprises, there's no guarantee that the favored team will finish the match as predicted.
I'm happy to see that someone admits that Al Hilal, despite the great tournament, had luck on their side. Let's not forget that for many European teams this tournament was not taken very seriously because the players were tired and they were already thinking about the holidays and the new season. In a normal situation City would win over Al Hilal 99% of the time. At the same time for teams like Al Hilal, Fluminense, etc, this tournament was extremely important for notoriety so they have 200%.
