There's also a clause preventing Osimhen from being sold to Italian clubs for two years. Osimhen won't be able to play against Napoli. Of course, there's no such clause. The transfer wasn't fully finalized until the signings were made, but it was breaking news. It was a major payment for Galatasaray.
So, even though the debt wasn't fully paid upfront, Osimhen still has a hefty payment to make. I hope this money helps Galatasaray achieve its desired success in Europe.
Most of the big transfers that happens in the market, the full payments don't happen at once. Some are spread for reasonable number of years. Some take like 2 to 5 years to finish the payments. But it seems Galatasary will finish the payment next year, as they have paid more than half of the money. Which is one reason why I think Napoli were being more interested in selling to the Saudi club as they werr willing to make outright payment without owing except add on which would have come from performances. I don't have any concern about Osimhen, as am sure he will repay Galatasary of this money with his performances on the pitch. It's a good signing for them.
