I only see envy and nothing more. If Al Nassr gives Ronaldo such power and they listen to his decisions, it shows that Ronaldo is not take as a player anymore but as part of the board of advisors for the club. That's what I think, if not Ronaldo wouldn't be given such power. Ronaldo is a super figure in football and he talks by experience, and he's highly influential.
I think Ronaldo knows his limit, he won't use his right in an excessive way. And I think Al Nassr board did this because they know Ronaldo deserves it. Ronaldo is the best player in the world, he is Al Nassr captain. Ronaldo must know well about football, he understands how to build a strong squad. Even if Ronaldo doesn't get a special rights in Al Nassr, Al Nassr board should still ask him to make certain decisions. So, I think there is nothing wrong with the decision of Al Nassr board to give Ronaldo such power.
I also believe that even though he's been given a lot of authority in internal matters, I'm confident he'll use it professionally and know his limits. The board of directors certainly does this because he's a great player with extensive football experience, and the authority he's been given is certainly for the good of the club.
I remember when Ronaldo was at Manchester United, in several interviews, he criticized the club for not developing due to numerous unresolved internal issues. When he revealed these issues, he was eventually removed from the club. But now, what Manchester United is experiencing proves that they're struggling to develop due to unresolved internal issues. Ronaldo isn't just a footballer; he knows what needs to be done within a team to be strong, especially if there are internal issues, which will certainly impact the team as a whole. Therefore, the authority given by the board is not excessive, considering his considerable experience, which ultimately serves the club's progress and well-being.
