Toni Kroos's absent really showed in the team last season they were porous in that area and their defense was really affected by injuries too but they've strengthened that area with younger rising talents though the Midfield still needs to be strengthened since Modric won't be available this season too, I don't know if they'll do that this summer if they can it would go a long way.

The question is can they survive with only Valverde's experience in that area, how would they cope when they face Barcelona in the el classico cause I don't think their current Midfield can match Barcelona's in terms of experience. Well there's still hope since Bellingham is still available so it would be Tchouaméni, Valverde and Bellingham playing that role.

Toni Kroos and Luca Modric were more than just Real Madrid midfielders; they were playmakers on the pitch and also quite adept at supporting Real Madrid's back line defensively. However, now, both players are just stories. Toni Kroos has retired from football, while Luca Modric will continue his career by moving to Serie A with AC Milan.

To strengthen Real Madrid's midfield, Kroos has recommended Real Madrid sign Anglo Stiller, but I don't see any plans for Real Madrid to sign the player from VfB Stuttgart. On the other hand, Real Madrid still has several promising young players like Tchouaméni, Valverde, and Bellingham. However, I believe that to further strengthen their midfield, Real Madrid needs to bring in new players, especially since Bellingham is currently suffering from a shoulder injury that requires immediate surgery. This is one reason why we haven't seen Bellingham perform as well as in previous seasons.
