I was reading a news article saying that bitcoins will not be safe once we have powerful quantum computers. Is there a good alternative way to store bitcoins safely in such a situation  ?
You guys can scrap some topics in the past. This bitcoin talk is a gold mine for us who are here, we can definitely have a lot of information since there are topics that has been discussed by the core developers and Satoshi himself in the platform in the early years of BTC. People are too scared of this quantum tech but we're more advanced tbh and core developers are preparing for this, and we still have a lot of time before everything upgrades, we just need to chill out. AFAIK, devs are designing a new address type which is P2QRH (pay-to-quantum-resistant-hash) which is called BIP-360. I don't know yet if this is feasible but you can read and verify here: https://bip360.org/
