Because at the end of the day most of us including me obviously have a condition where we are fully aware that this is a difficult thing but sometimes try to force it just because of ambitions that are sometimes much bigger than we imagine.
You're right, we are people who always seek to be better at what we do and in the game we want to win, sometimes that desire is what leads us to make mistakes that we can't turn back after the money has been lost, but if we control our ambition from the beginning and think only about what we are willing to lose, ambition doesn't appear, because when we win something respectable, the best thing to do is to withdraw that money.
This kind of thing cannot be prevented because we all, especially for gamblers, have a big ego and expectations about gambling that turn into ambitions that make it difficult for us to make a difference and always fall into the same trap in the end in our gambling activities.
We cannot deny this because it is an irrefutable truth, but of course even though this is quite true, of course we can minimize things like this so that in the end it doesn't get worse.
We can't prevent it entirely but we can minimize it so that it doesn't happen and I don't think this is a problem to do because it will be positive even though we know that it is not easy to do it and it will even be more difficult when there are external factors that do intervene or provide opportunities again to make us out of our own control when we are gambling.
