I think that there will be two teams that will be eliminated at the end of the group stages. So after three days of the group stages, only 8 teams will proceed to the playoffs and there are 10 participants so, it might be two teams that will be eliminated after the group stages.
The page you saw might've been inaccurate because the playoff bracket they'll use requires all 10 teams with the first seed waiting in the UB semis.
BB could have decent chance though, they usually tend to win tournaments like this and aside from that dont forget that this is a home tournament for the chinese teams so yeah they have decent chances as well
I also think BetBoom and Gaimin Gladiators are the two teams that can pop off in this tournament. Even though both of them got eliminated early in the playoffs of the EWC, it could've gone differently if they're paired up with Team Liquid or Aurora.
