Are you aware of the e-shopping site called Shoppe? This platform was first launched in Singapore in 2015 then reached to Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Basically covering the south east asia. It got me thinking how Uber accepted bitcoin and I wondered if is it possible that e-shopping site accepts bitcoin?

Maybe not. Shopee is known for very cheap items and I doubt there will be people wanting to pay in bitcoin. And is bitcoin that big in south east asia? But I thought that if bitcoin gets accepted in shopee, it will be a huge sign of adoption.
I think this is possible, as the era of modernity has become deeply ingrained in many people. Furthermore, Bitcoin is an asset synonymous with modernity, and many people say it is the payment method of the future. So, with this in mind, I don't think it's impossible for shopping apps like Shopee to implement a Bitcoin payment system. Bitcoin's popularity in Southeast Asia is currently booming and its development is impressive. So, with this in mind, I think Shopee could add Bitcoin to its payment options in the future. However, for now, I don't think Shopee will do so just yet. Shopee will certainly need to conduct analysis and observation before implementing Bitcoin into its payment system. They will certainly consider this carefully. Bitcoin is volatile, and its transaction system uses a blockchain. So, of course, Shopee must consider this as well, so that their customers can remain comfortable making transactions. However, if Shopee can add a Bitcoin payment system, I will certainly support it.
