In my opinion, the teams that will fight for the title are:
1 - Liverpool
2 - Chelsea
3 - Arsenal
4 - Manchester City
Chelsea has improved a lot, and they're a team that's improving with each game, so I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to win the league. I'm not a Chelsea fan, but I admit they're a strong contender, better than Arsenal and Manchester City on paper. We'll see on the field, but if I had to choose just two teams with the best chance of winning the Premier League, I'd choose Chelsea and Liverpool. Manchester City hasn't yet managed to regain its strength.
Arsenal has had a good start to the season, but by the middle of the season, their performance begins to decline, and by the end of the season, they haven't been able to win anything. Liverpool has had defensive problems in the last few games of the season; if they can't fix that, they may not be able to achieve good results. while chelsea is simply at its highest level, it has no weak points.
You did not include Manchester United in your list despite how the team management are making effort to sign more players after confirming Bryan Mboymo’s deal; they have identified a lot of players to be added to their squad and if they are able to add these players, they can also compete for the title because Amorim is a good coach and can use his tactics to help the team.
Nevertheless, their chances of competing for the title is still slim, because Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all in the title race, same as Tottenham that won the Europa League last season. Let’s hope that Manchester United can do well next season because they deserve better.
I agree with you, Manchester United have what it takes to challenge for the premier league this coming season but they are obviously not getting it right so far, I know they are trying to bring in some new players to improve the team and also offloading some players they feel that does not align with their current philosophy and structure, not because they are not good enough. The likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester city are ahead of Manchester United because of playing patterns, Manchester United doesn’t have a playing patter yet, even though they are bringing in new players doesn’t guarantee them success, they will have to get a playing pattern that must work for them just as the other clubs mentioned above before they can be able to challenge for the title.
