Past transfer debacles have changed me this way.
Signing Mbeumo for 75 Million Euros is ridiculous, but it's more ridiculous to see Manchester United are interested to sign Jackson, Chelsea have set a price Jackson price for 70 Million Euros, which is high, player like him only worth around 40 Million Euros.
I don't believe that Rashford is signing Barcelona only to be a substitute player. Maybe he will become the new left winger, while Yamal is going to stay as a right winger. Lewandowski is getting too old and Barcelona needs a new central striker. Barca signing Rashford seems like a risky transfer to me. Some English players become really successful playing in Europe, while others get injured or their performance deteriorates. Rashford never had a good performance in the last 2 years in Manchester United. I'm a bit skeptical that he will suddenly become a great player in Barcelona.

Rashford's rival is Raphinha, a player who older a year than him, his performance mostly on the top level and rare to suffer injury. Rashford is likely will play in any forward positions I think.
