To my own opinion I think they have to give him time to prove himself, he took over when the team is already in big mess and have no much time but he managed to get to the Europa League final even though he lost he was kind of superb in that league with some incredible winnings so I think they should let him have his way first for at least one season, because with his mind of letting players like rashford, Sancho, ganacho,and Anthony leave the team not minding their impact and their quality I think he's really up to something and again the three signing he have made already kind of show he is up to something and should be given the chance.
This is what they ought to do, amorim took over the managerial role of the club when Eric Ten Hag with team has already done much harm than good, so it is, the club has to buy more time for amorim, no one will want to say that amorim wasn't good where he came from, so it is obvious that the team is in serious joepardy and imo I will be in the best interest of the club if they do the needful by shopping for more good players, sell out some that are still in the club then allow amorim to do his job, the players that you listed was at a time during the last season even not giving there best, there's not doubt that amorim is really cooking something very great but my concern is if the club will allow him do his thing without much interference.
