Tried this casino today. They asked me to complete my personal details before I could make a deposit.
This is good right? that is a casino demanding KYC before you can even make a deposit. There are gamblers who have made the complaint formerly and even now that some casino act sketchy by waiting until when a gambler on their platform wins a huge amount and demands withdrawal before they demand KYC.
Is KYC a complicated thing? We all know that when we gamble, since it involves financial matters, they can demand KYC from us at any time if any of our activities seem illegal to them. And since we will deposit money there and can win something big at any time, we have to do KYC there to protect our money. So if we know this in advance, then why should we have so much hesitation about KYC. I try to complete KYC before depositing money on the site where I gamble because I know that I may have to do it at any time. And I don't like gambling on new sites, so doing KYC on sites that have been providing good service for a long time is not a problem for me.
I never insinuated that it was a complicated thing at least not for most. Just saying that based on the experience that some gamblers have had or heard off from other gamblers about how a casino started suddenly demanding KYC after a huge win and they wanted to withdraw, some of these gamblers will prefer KYC at the initial stages before they can even make a deposit if possible rather than the later stages after their huge win.
