Less than a month to go for the new season to be underway!

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid competed in the Club World Cup you know. Do you think this will make them readier for the beginning?
But the disadvantageous side is that players had to come back to new season training by a smaller break. Barcelona players had much longer time to rest before training. But the sad thing about them is that they can't make signings easily because of La Liga FFP.
For Real Madrid, they went as far as reaching the semi's but Atletico Madrid were pulled out from the competition during the group stages. From what I heard about this tournament, you can decline to participate in it if you feel it would affect you but since Madrid went on, they should not complain that they have less training and resting time.
I don't know what to expect from these clubs yet because they are still trying to bolster their squad. For me, it's after the transfer window is over that we can tell how their performance would look like. The likes of Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are looking for more players to join them and for Barcelona, the plan of getting Marcus Rashford is almost complete and it's looking like he'd act as a buffer to Raphinha.
I hope to see more competition from Atletico Madrid because for sometime now they have seemed content to end the season in third place, may be this time around they can prove to the likes of Barcelona and Madrid that they are deserving of their respect too.
