Liverpool have agreed to sign Ekitike. Reportedly Liverpool paid the agreed fee for striker Hugo Ekitike of £69 million with an additional £10 million. Ekitike is French and he now has permission to travel to complete a medical examination and agree personal terms with Liverpool. If everything goes according to plan, the forward could join the Reds squad for their pre-season tour of Asia. Liverpool are actually competing with Newcastle, Newcastle United's initial bid of £70 million for forward Hugo Ekitike was rejected by Eintracht Frankfurt and finally Liverpool made a higher offer.
