I think it took about 40 hours of non-stop work to manage the event and other bbcode related details.
You could ask every participant to provide one additional picture sized 500x500 (or any other size you might like), without any name tag, so that the do at least some work. You can simply pick that picture for the galley, already in the right shape and without editing out the name.
