If you are extremely rich and you can just gamble up to your heart's content, does the novelty of winning wear off?
It won't!
The person who was drawn to this was gambling because he wanted to win, he had from the start that need, it's pretty hard for someone who maybe was also in need of money to actually get bored of both winning and making money, the only scneario when is gets bored an quits is the moment he has more than enough money out of it and ne nees somethign mroe exciting and those are cases you can count maybe on a few hands fingers if not one.
Assuming extremely rich, assuming he has no need for money, then obviously the only adrenaline he needs is that of winning, money is irrelevant here, he came for the wins and he will keep trying to win till he achieves eveythign he wished, the novelety is not a part of it he just wants to be the best at the table and ussulaly this end with him losing a ton of money, sometimes too much even if he counted himself as extremely rich before that.
Like would you get tired of gambling since there's really not much risks because you can gamble with any amount and still receive little to no consequences?
There is no such thing as infinite time and money, nor is there a thing with no consequences!
