United needs a good goalkeeper in the sticks and I think they are weighing that option but it's just that it's not a priority. At the moment, they want to get a striker before looking at other areas worth strengthening like midfield and goalkeeper. I also think the amount they realized from the sales of outgoings will determine if they will sign a new goalkeeper or not.
It is true Manchester United needs a goal keeper, few days back I saw a local news that had it that Manchester United was already considering getting one already and moves are in place but I do not know just yet if the deal is already in motion as I am not so sure about the authenticity of the news. A striker is also needed and there have been some attempts on one which is not clear because Arsenal shares same interest and the player is giving preference to the gunners as his dream.
