It's hard to deny Chelsea is always good in doing football business. They bought Veiga for 14m, then so many offers came for them. The first one was coming from Atletico, which was around 35m (add ons). However i believe Chelsea can push Atletico to deal with their asking price.
It's also good for Atletico to get him as a new CB, and the positive is that he can also play as LB as well, though it's not his main position.
Getting him much more better instead of Cuti Romero from Tottenham. I believe this deal will be finished very soon.
No lies about that. See in the case of Noni Madueke that they bought for £30m from PSV and later sold to Arsenal for a fee of £52m . Personally, I don't really see why Renato should be sold at that amount by the club because I didn't really see much of him at Chelsea, rather it was when he went to Juventus that he played a good role in their defense.
Anyway, Atletico Madrid should sign him since they couldn't lay their hands on Romero of Tottenham. Meanwhile, Renato is utterly disappointed at Chelsea for not letting him play at Chelsea in his CB position since he did so brilliantly at Juventus but I hope he won't get benched like he was at Chelsea because the main reason he left on loan was so he could have playing time.
He doesn't like to always play as LB, and wants CB. Notwithstanding, Maresca rejected his request. He has no choice other than leave from Chelsea. He personally agreed in term with Atletico Madrid, but his club has not yet reached final agreement regarding his final fees.
I hope he goes there asap. It's a win win situation for him and his club. He gets CB position, and his club flip him for 2.5x profit. It's nice business.
