The power of new haircut.

Darwin Nunez is on fire during pre season, he scored one goal against Preston North End and hattrick against Stoke City. He's making Arne Slot's life difficult because Liverpool have sign Ekitike and it would confuse Slot to choose which striker to be in starting lineup.
I think Slot will choose to sell Chiesa and keep Nunez.
Nothing new, Nunez always turns up during preseason so I am not surprised though he has been on that for three seasons now. I don’t see him starting no matter his form yet. Ekitike is Arne slot choice and signing and for him to allow the club to spend €95m on a player I don’t think that he would want to see the player on bench because it will be questionable by the Board. Every manager tries to prove that their choice of signing always the best option and they give them more playing time so I see Ekitike actually playing more as the striker.
But if Nunez actually sit up and improves I think he might be given opportunity on the left wing most especially with Luiz Diaz on the brink of been sold leaving only Gakpo as the starter on the left wing. Nunez seriously has the pace and quality to play from there just like we see from Richarlison but all this are subjected to if he doesn’t get sold, because reports is that Liverpool are most likely to sell him off.
Well, this is football and there's no excuse for anyone's failure. It doesn't matter whether he joins at the beginning, middle or end of the season. What matters to the team and fans is result and as far as he's not giving them the desire result, criticism will kick in immediately. Manchester united makes some new signings to boost their squad strength and no doubt, we expect to some drastic changes and developments in the upcoming season. Amorin should not end up like predecessor that becomes a nightmare for united despite winning a trophy for them.
Actually there are room for excuses when there are certain conditions that can hinder success, just like quoted post said Amorim joined Manchester United mid way into the season and without preseason or anything and with the club in trouble be had to simply just use what he has to play like that. Even after signing him mid way into the season I was expecting them to back him in the winter transfer window but they didn’t which was an excuse
For me Manchester United should have stucked with Ruud Van Nistelrooy till end of the season and then allow Amorim come now and start afresh with the team. But with the new season coming and the club getting in new players and getting rid of the ones he doesn’t want, he definitely doesn’t have any more excuses come next season most especially if they complete the next three signings he wants
