I came across news that there’s a senator pushing to ban gambling in our country.

So I’d like to ask fellow gamblers here, do you think this move is justified? Or is it too harsh?

I don't think this will solve the problem but it can still minimize people who gamble in the end.
The decision on gambling regulation is certainly related to the activities of the community so it is feared that if gambling is left unchecked then this can have an impact on the quality of human beings, especially in terms of finance of course.

This will not be a solution because when it is illegal then I think there will be more and more people who gamble just to feel the sensation of how to violate the regulations made by the government against gambling.
I say this because in the place where I live now, gambling regulations are still illegal and everything related to gambling is prohibited, but will it be obeyed by the community? The answer is no, the enthusiasts will be more and more because now sometimes some people feel that the rules are there for us to break.
