Congratulations to the Super Falcons as they qualify for the finals of the Female African Cup of Nations. The match was heading to extra time before Michelle Alozie got the winning goal in the 94th minute. The Nigerian side will play with either Morocco or Ghana in the finals. The Bayana Bayana bowed out as heroines because they gave the nine-time champion a good fight. The injuries of Gabriela Salgado and Makhubela affected the South Africa side adversely.

The Nigerian team are really on their mission (mission X) to accomplish their tenth WAFCON trophy after defeating the South African female team in the final minutes of the game to score the winning goal. It was really a tough match for them and the South Africans had to prove themselves to be the defending champions before Nigerians could get through them to the finals.

The host nation have also qualified for the finals after defeating the Ghanaian female teams in penalty shootout 4-2 after the extra time which brought the game to an end on 1-1 on the score sheet. The Moroccans female team will now be facing Nigeria in the finals, they have the home advantage with their fans going to be cheering them up on Saturday. Will the Nigerians super falcons prevail or fail to win the trophy and not accomplish the mission X? It is very hard to decide now even when Nigerians seem to have the upper chance here.
