Arteta is an experienced manager and he understands better what the club needs to improve and what qualities to look out for in players. I don’t know about Arsenal fans having mixed feelings about this transfer but I trust they will eventually understand when the season begins.
It’s clear from Arteta performances at Arsenal that he is an experienced manager, and that can never be denied. Despite not yet winning major trophies like the Champions League or the Premier League, the way Arsenal have improved under him shows that no Arsenal fan should say Arteta is not a good coach.however, the reason why most Arsenal fans have been complaining over the past two seasons is that Arteta knows he needs certain types of players in the squad to strengthen the team and help them achieve what the fans have been dreaming of for years. Unfortunately, those were not the kinds of players he was signing.
For example, it has been over two seasons now that fans have been calling for a new striker and more wingers as backup in case players like Saka or others get injured, so the team has proper replacements. But instead, Arteta focused mainly on building the defense and didn’t focus signing wingers players.Now that he has finally signed a winger and is close to completing a striker deal, almost every Arsenal fan is happy because they know the kind of players he’s bringing in are capable of delivering results. With these signings, everyone is expecting him to win major trophies next season.
