WNBA players are being heavily promoted and it is making them feel like they aren’t getting a piece of the pie. They’re shooting themselves in the foot though demanding more money. The league is burning through millions of dollars trying to get people to care about the WNBA so it can be profitable and they can pay these girls, but by constantly complaining they’re going to end up unemployed and without a league.
It really is a never ending story with those WNBA players. How can you been so far away from reality to demand more money from a business that doesn't make any money, it's crazy. If you look at the allstar game "highlights" alone you can see how bad this product still is, despite the rise of popularity.
Demanding more money for turnovers, airballs and missed layups, yeah right.
They are all haters, the way they treat C.C. is just ridiculous. This league is still such a joke, even in Europe you see better (fundamentally clean) basketball.
The players don’t get that the league isn’t paying them because they’re promoting the hell out of the league and trying to build a real following which will pay off down the line. Instead they want to bankrupt the league for dollars now. NBA players didn’t make any money in the beginning either. It took Jordan to globalize demand before the money appeared.
